Pre George Harrison
George often quoted lines from All You Need is Cash and other Monty Python related creations during interviews and even referred to them in songs. His friendship with, and admiration of the Pythons lead to the creation of HandMade films which produced Life of Brian after the film’s original backer, EMI, backed out. The song “Mo” refers to then Warner Bros. record executive and president Mo Ostin who had welcomed George and agreed to distribute Dark Horse Records.
