Pre Extra Texture (Read All About It)
George probably felt that by the time he had developed laryngitis it was too late to back out of the somewhat extravagant North American tour. An entire Indian orchestra had been hired to come out on the road to augment George’s already motley crew. For George’s perseverance and innovation, the shows were mostly well-received by fans. Only two tracks from the tour have been released. Both come from rare bonus CDs/45s that were packed with illustrated books of George’s lyrics.
